The first organizational meeting as part of Noise Exchange project funded by the International Visegrad Fund is behind us.
After a heated discussion we established the initial program of the event which will be held on October 10-12,2019 in Wrocław. Acoustical measurement methods and their applications in measurement of environmental noise will be subjects of the lectures and workshops run by the experts. There will also be integration meetings of project participants, among others during a location-based game in Wrocław.
The second event will take place in Bratislava. For three days we will acquire knowledge of psychoacoustics. We will learn how we perceive noises and how it affects our health. We will also master psychological methods of testing noise perception in terms of laboratory listening tests.
Noise Visualizations will be the subject of the third meeting in Prague. We will learn about the theory of sound field and signal processing. We will also have trainings in the acoustic holography by means of microphone array system. The last event will be a chance to discuss the acquired knowledge and opportunities for further cooperation.
